La Verde means “the green”. It’s written above the glass on Kensington Road in Kannada and English (ಲಾ ವರ್ಡೆ · La Verde, by Ignite + Aliign), and it carries on inside: plants along the glass, trees just beyond it, matcha poured over oat milk and strawberry at the counter.
Ignite + Aliign is built on one idea: a practice creates change when you can repeat it. Repeating it is easier with a ritual around it. La Verde is that ritual. A matcha before class. Electrolytes after. Breakfast on the way to work. And for the people who never step into the heat, the same table and the same welcome. Member or not.
